DTG printing uses the “process” method, making a range of colors out of just 4 or 6 colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, black, red, green and white). A DTG machine is essentially a big inkjet printer, similar to what you have at your home office, but designed to print on T-shirts and other garments. It works better for detailed designs with multiple colors than screen printing. For a clearer explanation of which printing design to use please refer to the video below.

Direct-to-film (DTF) printing is a heat-transfer process that involves printing a design onto a special film and then transferring it to fabric or other materials.
DTF printing can be used on a variety of materials, including cotton, polyester, nylon, treated leather, and blends. It can also be used on hard-to-print areas like logos, sleeves, shoes, and neck labels, as well as on colors that are traditionally difficult to decorate, such as blue, red, green, and yellow. DTF printing has several advantages, including:
Durability: DTF prints are more durable than screen-printed or vinyl designs, and won't crack, peel, or fade with proper care
Washability: DTF prints can withstand multiple washes without losing their quality or color
